Nathaniel is originally from Minnesota but has lived in the DFW area for the last 18 years and calls the DFW area his home.  He got his BS in Exercise Science from the University of Texas in Arlington and then ventured out to West Texas to get his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Tech University.  While at Texas Tech, Nathaniel also worked with the Texas Tech Red Raider football team and helped teach Gross Anatomy in their physical therapy program.  

Nathaniel has extensive training and is certified in clinical soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release, spine mobilization/manipulation, manual lymphatic drainage, and trigger point therapy.  Nathaniel is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is certified in Dry Needling.  He is a big believer in continuing education and has developed an interest in treating Vestibular (vertigo and balance) and Craniofacial (neck, Jaw, face dysfunction) patients.

Dr. Nathaniel Ried, PT, DPT, CFC, CSCS, Cert. DN

Owner/Physical Therapist/Author

Daniel grew up in a small town outside of State College, Pennsylvania where he grew to love sports and being outdoors. During his years as a high school athlete, he met an influential Physical Therapist who sparked his interest in the field and eventually led him to choose this as his profession. Daniel attended the Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and received a Bachelors in Exercise Science. He then decided to continue his education at SRU and received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Daniel has prior clinical experience in orthopedic and post-operative rehab. He has interests in expanding his knowledge of hands-on techniques and continues to learn additional strategies to improve his clinical practice. Outside of Ried he enjoys exercising, golfing, hiking, and traveling.

LeeAnn has lived in Fort Worth, Texas all of her life and is enjoying how much the city has changed in these recent years.  She graduated from the University of North Texas in 2001 and began her career in the medical field.  She has worked in several disciplines of medicine including Family Medicine, Cardiology, Opthamology and Physical Therapy. It is very important to LeeAnn to be a part of the patient's healing process.

 

LeeAnn loves spending time laughing and joking with her husband and son. She also enjoys watching basketball, eating mexican food and dancing, even though she can't dance to save her life.

Kimberly Mauer PTA, CPT, PPSC

Licensed Physical Therapist

Kim grew up outside of Dallas in Mesquite TX. She has moved and lived in several states including Kentucky, Pennsylvania and New York various parts of Florida and Texas. She always knew she would return to Texas as it was always home. 

Kim went to college at Western Kentucky University where she played soccer all 4 years, after graduation she continued her education at NPTI ( national personal training Institue) to become a NSCA certified personal trainer and from there went to Seminole State College down in Florida for her physical therapy assistant education. 

Kim is passionate about the profession and helping individuals reach their long term goals and specializes in functional movement, sports performance. She is a certified NSCA CPT, and is pain free specialist certified PPSC

In her spare time you can find her with her dogs, hiking, taking pictures, going to live music events and enjoying a nice cup of coffee.

Simon is our remote employee from The Philippines. He has had job experiences in Sales and Marketing before working here at Ried Physical Therapy. Simon loves doing the absolute best for his work. He is quiet but loves talking when spoken to. He also has 3 cats which are all very sweet and loveable.

 

His hobbies are digital painting, watching TV shows and movies, and playing games, but he loves spending time with his partner the most.

Simon Sy

Sandra was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia where she studied and worked as an Admnistrative Assistant until 2001. She moved to a Caribbean Island (Curacao, Netherland Antilleans) where she lived for about 5 years, when she met her husband and moved to Fort Worth in 2007.

Sandra has lived in multiple states within the USA, due to her husbands military career. One of those states was Massachusetts, where she graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. She received her Physical Therapy Assistant License from Springfield Technincal Community College in 2014. The majority of Sandra's experience comes in the orthopedic manual therapy setting and she also has ecperience in the home health, and skilled nursing facility setting.

 

 

Outside of the clinic, Sandra enjoys spending time with God, her husband, family and friend. She likes to travel, play table games, cook and try diferent cuisines.

He is an avid Ohio State Football fan and enjoys watching UFC. He also is a Philadelphia sports fan so don’t hold it against him to be supporting the Eagles on a Sunday!

Front Office Manager

Ashley was born and raised in Indianola, Mississippi but has lived in numerous places including Kansas, South Carolina, Hawaii, Georgia, and now has decided to plant roots in Fort Worth, TX. She graduated from Mississippi University for Women in 2013. She has worked in multiple disciplines including hospice, family medicine, home health, and physical therapy. Ashley loves being able to make meaningful connections with patients and being able to make a difference. Her favorite motto is "if better is possible then good is not enough" and it is a philosophy that she applies to all that she does.

 

Ashley loves spending time with family and friends and although she is not a big sports fan, she admits that the Dallas Cowboys are growing on her!

Nathaniel is only one of four physical therapists in the state of Texas to be certified in Cranio-mandibular Head, Neck, and Facial Pain from the University of St. Augustine. University of St. Augustine has the only university  accredited post-doctoral Cranio-mandibular Head, Neck, and Facial Pain program in the nation. Dr. Mariano Rocobado created the Cranio-mandibular, Head, Neck, Facial Pain Certification Program at St. Augustine University. Dr. Mariano Rocabado is a leading international expert in the field of TMD and Craniofacial Pain.

With a previous history of chronic headaches, Nathaniel has a passion for treating headache patients and has used his previous education and training to develop two unique programs, Headache Program and TMJ/Neck Pain Program, at Ried PT. Nathaniel has also written a book about head, neck, and face pain entitled: "Chew On This! Get Rid Of Head, Neck, And Jaw Pain For Good!"

Nate loves to watch Texas Tech sports, Dallas Mavericks basketball, and Dallas Cowboys football.

Damian Hernandez, PTA, CCP

Damian was born in Garden Grove, California and moved to Texas in 2006 with is family. To this  day Damian has not adjusted to the Texas summer. Damian went to Brewer High School where he participated in football, soccer, track and powerlifting. In high school an ACL injury gave Damian first hand experience with PT and he since knew he wanted to work in PT. Damian completed his PTA education at Tarrant County College and has primarily worked in outpatient orthopedics. Damian is passionate about helping other move better, with less pain and return to their goals using various techniques such as exercises, manual therapy and dry needling. 

Damian enjoys watching various sports such as the NFL Cowboys, Liga MX/La Liga soccer teams, working out, trying new restaurants, walking with his dog on the weekends and occasionally playing soccer.
